I sit down to watch the game in my living room last night and completely amazed at what I am watching. The game starts and every player on our team is skating out of their skates and look like they are in a deciding game of playoffs.
Linden had addressed the team with a speech in the locker room prior to the game. Burrows couldn't say enough about what it meant to the team and Mo mentioned that when he speaks people listen because he has played in Game seven of the Big Dance. Apparently it took the pressure off and inspired the team.
No shit, the team that started that game was a far cry from what we have seen most of the year.
Just when you think he has nothing to give he leads our team in offense during the 07 playoffs. Just when we all want to burry the team he steps up and grabs the team sets them on a path to Victory. The only differance last night is that if Linden was in his prime he would have lead on the score sheet as well.
Forget about the regular season debate, come post season we go to War with #16 in the line up.
