Assistant Coach Hired, Rick Bowness

Group: CC Regular Posts: 149 Joined: 6-August 05 Member No.: 107	Apparently Vigneault has hired Rick Bowness as an assistant coach. Bowness was most recently an assistant in Phoenix , but did not get his contract renewed when Wayne hired another on of his pals Ulf Samuelson as an assistant. Bowness is known to be a take no shit , pretty tough on the boys type of guy.

It appears Ian Clarke is not only staying on, but will have his position raised to full time goalie COACH rather than consultant. Curious as to who the other Ass. Coach will be.

I haven't seen the official announcement yet either but I am pretty sure it is a done deal. I too am waiting to see who the other assistant is. -------------------- HW

I like the tough on the boys tho.

Guests	Bowness could be just what the boys need; however, the ones that didnt work hard were the ones who have already been shipped out.
